ESO 2 Students,
According to instructions issued by the authorities, we will be missing 4 sessions (remember that for Labor School Thursday 19th and Friday 20th were bank holiday days): Monday 16th, Monday 23rd, Thursday 26th and Friday 27th. I am giving you now some information and activities to cover Unit 7 ("The art of collecting").
Please split and distribute these tasks evenly for those 4 sessions. Do not try and do all of them at one go. A good idea would be to sit down at your usual desk at home at the same time as we would be having our class and work non-stop for 50 minutes.
If authorities decided to extend the present situation, more contents, activities and exercises would be published on this web. So don't worry if you haven't finished all of the activities I am proposing you by Friday 27th. Just try and do your best and as much as you can.
If you need any help or have any queries or doubts, please contact me at
labor.teacher@gmail.com. I will try to reply as soon as possible.
Before we begin, I would like to give you a piece of advice: now it is the time to be responsible, to help our parents and families, to be positive, (pro)active and patient, even cheerful. It is not the time to complain or to be a burden. We all have a perfect opportunity to read, to work on our weak points, even to think and meditate, to try and become a better version of ourselves. And remember: there are things much more important than exams or school marks and qualifications.
Please take care and stay safe. All the best!

Unit 7 - The Art of Collecting
In this unit you must try and learn about two basic ideas:
- The present perfect with for, since and how long.
- The present perfect vs. the past simple
But first of all, you must copy and translate the vocabulary for unit 7 (Sports, Collector's items, Other Words) on page 122 of your course book.
You have all the information you need on the present perfect, for, since, how long, and the difference between the present perfect and the past simple on pages 84 and 85 of your Workbook, as well as on the Grammar reference section (page 114).
