As your unit 1 exam is due on Wednesday 9th
and Thursday 10th, here you have some notes about the grammar and
vocabulary studied along this unit which will help you revise at home:
GRAMMAR:
Personal pronouns.
Be: present simple affirmative, negative and questions.
Wh- pronouns: questions with the verb be.
Remember:
We can replace subject pronouns by names:
He's handsome = Brad Pitt's handsome
She's very inteligent = María's very intelligent
It's clever = My cat's clever
They are in the box = My books
are in the box

If the subject is singular (we use 's)
if it is plural (we use are). Examples:
Is/Are your mum
pretty? Your mum=singular=Is she/Is your mum?
Is/Are your bird yellow? Your bird=singular=Is
